The primary goal of players at TH10 War Base, particularly during Clan Wars, is the defense against three-star attacks. In order to defend yourself effectively, it is vital that you have war bases that are aimed at annoying the attackers and making it very difficult for them to claim a complete victory. Well-designed TH10 war bases layouts are equipped with smart base compartmentalization, strategically located traps and defensive mechanisms that effectively counter the commonly used tactics of the opponents such as Lavaloon, GoWiPe and Mass Miners.
It is also noteworthy that Centralized Inferno Towers are very useful predominantly when they are set to multi-target mode; Turning this densely connected approach into an overlapping killing zone can wreak havoc on many troops clustered together. While air defenses and X-Bows are placed in different angles to avoid concentrating a single line of attack for air or ground intrusion, these forms of armory are hardly effective when concentrated in one air or ground defense system. Other Hidden Contraptions like Giant Bombs, Tornado Traps and Seeking Air Mines are also installed in places where the level of their efficiency will be maximized targeting high priority units like Bowlers, Miners and Baloons.
These tried and tested TH10 war base layouts justify the expectation of the clan leader that even the most experienced of attackers will be kept at bay and the risk of losing 3 stars is minimised giving the clan an upper hand during wars.
